This presentation provides the learner guidance in maximizing productivity and avoiding land mines when developing their first dozen Captivate e-learning lessons. This lesson will cover: exporting / importing, and formatting related to translations, methods to stop the timeline, simple audio editing within Captivate, templates for rapid development, template testing in your LMS, and other ways to work smarter, and faster, but not harder.

This presentation is a hands-on lesson utilizing the variable and advanced action capabilities of Captivate 4 to build a branching menu. Attendees will create variables, create multiple actions for trigger items, and then build and apply an action statement. After this session the learner will be able to build learner directed branching which requires completion of items x, y, and z before continuing on to the next topic.
