Creating eLearning Interactions with Adobe Flash and ActionScript 3.0

Through a series of hands-on exercises participants will work through using basic tools and techniques to build reusable modular e-learning interactions in Flash and Actionscript 3.0. Attendees will practice using the flash objects for building code based interactions, using provided code samples. Learners will additionally learn to import these swf interactions into Adobe Captivate, Lectora, and Articulate Presenter to enhance the interactivity of their rapid e-learning development projects. This workshop will provide learners with the code to create at least 15 different re-usable AS3 flash interactions that they can take home and leverage to create truly interactive e-learning. All Action Script 3 code is provided A few Examples include: Code for buttons to go to pages, URL’s or launches other flash movies Code to identify which object a user has clicked on Code to change properties of Movie clips such as visibility Code to use button clicks or mouse-over’s to change the properties of objects Code to create pop-ups Code to add audio control buttons to stop and start audio files Code for creating timers to control events Code to add objects to the stage and remove them again dynamically Review of Flash e-Learning Interactions (shipped only with Adobe E-learning Suite)
